Short answer. LiftMaster parts identification starts with the label on the operator. On Logic 5.0 hoists the last letter (R or L) is the hand chain side. On MAXUM DC the part number spells out the model and the door weight it's built for, plus duty and voltage. Accessory part numbers like 02-103L, CPS-UN4 and TLS1CARD map to one exact item, so read them off the part before ordering.
Ordering the wrong LiftMaster part costs a second trip and a door that stays broken another day. Most of the confusion comes from look-alike photo eyes and control stations with similar numbers. This LiftMaster parts identification page lists the commercial parts from the Logic 5.0 manual accessories pages and LiftMaster's 2025 MAXUM comparison chart. Every number here comes from those two documents.
Lock out power before you pull a cover to read a label. Several of these parts sit right next to the drive chain.
Reading a MAXUM DC part number
LiftMaster prints the decoder on its comparison chart. Take JHDC12X4N4XMC as an example.
| Part of the number | Meaning |
|---|---|
| JDC, RJDC, JHDC, TDC | Jackshaft, jackshaft with release, hoist, trolley |
| 7, 12, 22 | Doors up to 700, 1,200 or 2,200 lb |
| S or X | Standard duty or extended duty |
| 1 | 120/240 V single and three phase |
| 4 | 480 V three phase |
| B | Battery backup capable (standard on the JDC) |
| N4X | NEMA 4X environmental version |
RJDC units end in BER or BEL, which is the right or left hand version. NEMA 4X units ship with the CPS-UN4 eye instead of the CPS-U.

Hoist handing on Logic 5.0
H and HJ operators are ordered right or left hand, and the last letter of the model number shows it. The 3 HP GH is the same. On GH units from 1/2 to 2 HP the hand chain wheel can be switched in the field, so the letter matters less.
Control stations
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| 02-101 | 1-button control station, steel enclosure |
| 02-102 | 2-button control station, steel enclosure |
| 02-103L | 3-button control station, steel, with Maintenance Alert LED |
| 02-110 | Key control station, indoor flush mount, NEMA 1, with stop button |
| 02-401 | 1-button indoor surface mount station, NEMA 1 |
The 02-103L is the station with the MAS LED, and it needs the fifth wire to light. People often look for an 823LM as a wall button. The 823LM is a remote light switch and it's discontinued, so the 02-103L is the station to order.
Photo eyes and edges
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| CPS-U | Dual sided infrared photo eyes, NEMA 1, indoor, 30 ft |
| CPS-UN4 | Thru-beam photo eyes, NEMA 4, indoor or outdoor, 45 ft |
| CPS-RPEN4 | Retro-reflective with polarized reflector, NEMA 4X, 50 ft |
| CPS-OPEN4 | Dual sided with flexible housings, NEMA 4X, 45 ft |
| CPS-MEI | Interface for approved 2-wire monitored edges |
| CPS-EI | Interface for approved 4-wire edges |
| CPS3CARD | Plug-in card for a second monitored eye or edge |
| OES-SD16, OES-SD24 | Optical edge kits for sectional doors, 16 and 24 ft |
| OES-RD16 | Optical edge kit for rolling doors, 16 ft |
| 65-8202, 65-5202 | Pneumatic sensing edge kits, non monitored |
The optical edges are NEMA 6 rated and run to 33 feet. The rubber cuts to length. Wire colours and terminals for each eye are on the entrapment protection guide.

Brackets and chain tensioners
| Part | What it is |
|---|---|
| 10-12360 | Heavy steel bracket for rolling door coil mount, can be welded. J, H, DJ and DH. |
| 08-9098 | Cast iron bracket for J, H, DH, DJ and GH on a rolling door end bracket. Can't be welded. |
| 08-9098EZ | Same with an adapter plate that holds the bolts |
| 1A4324 | Heavy steel coil bracket, can be welded. J, H, DJ and DH. |
| 1A4324EZ | Same with an adapter plate |
| 71-6023 | Chain tensioner for 1 inch shafts on jackshaft operators |
| 71-6125 | Chain tensioner for 1-1/4 inch shafts |

Option cards and add-ons
The TLS1CARD timer light status card can flash lights or sound a horn at set door positions. It adds timer functions too. The AUXCARD has normally open and normally closed contacts that change state with the door's motion. A red and green traffic light, the RGL24LY, shows when the door reaches open, and LiftMaster recommends the TLS1CARD with it. The 50-HERK2 is a 24 V microwave motion detector with two channels. The 50450 is a NEMA 4 sectional door interlock switch that disables the controls when the door is locked. A wrong card triggers the 6 blink code on the Logic 5.0 error codes page.
Parts that don't exist
Some numbers float around online that LiftMaster doesn't list. We won't quote parts for codes like PSLV1, LMWIFI890, 821LMCS or a "Techna Pro". The 380UT is marked discontinued on its own LiftMaster page. Bring us a photo of the label and we'll find the current part.
