Manaras-Opera makes two families of remotes for commercial doors, and they do not mix. Before you try to program anything, find out which family you have. The model number is on the back of the remote, and the series decides which receiver it will talk to.

Series 100 Rolling Code Remotes
Series 100 is the current Manaras line. Every press sends a new code, so a copied signal is useless and a generic duplicator cannot clone one. Each remote has to be paired to a receiver. All Series 100 remotes work with each other and retrofit onto older Series 100 systems, so adding a remote never means replacing the ones already in the building.

There is also the KEYLESS042 wireless keypad, which sits in the same Series 100 rolling code family and pairs the same way as a remote.
Series 900 Dip Switch Remotes
Series 900 is the fixed code family. The code is set by a bank of 10 dip switch keys inside the remote, and every remote on a door has to be set the same. These replace the older Series 0 Manaras dip switch remotes. They will not pair with the receiver built into a Manaras operator board. They need a RADIORE 901 or RADIORE 900 receiver.

Manaras Receivers
Most Manaras operators have a radio receiver on the control board. When the operator is another brand, when the board receiver has failed, or when the building runs dip switch remotes, an external receiver gets wired into the operator instead.
RADIORE 901 universal receiver

The RADIORE 102 is another Series 100 receiver. It works with the rolling code remotes except the RADIOEM 103 in SD mode and the RADIOEM 144.
How to Program a Series 100 Remote
On a Manaras operator it is on the control board. On another brand of operator it is the separate RADIORE 901 box, usually on the wall beside the operator. You need to reach its LEARN button.
Press and hold the LEARN button. Manaras documents the receiver LED blinking slowly, about one second on and one second off, once it is ready to learn. Let go.
Press the button you want to use, right away. The receiver only waits a short time, so if nothing happens, start again from step 2.
Walk back to where the driver will press it, not beside the operator, and run the door open and closed. On a 103 in SD mode or a 144, check stop too.
Programming a RADIOEM 144
Set the two rotary dials to the door number first, then pair that door the same way: LEARN on that door’s receiver, then press the remote. Change the dials and repeat at the next door. One 144 holds every door it has been paired to, so adding a door later only means pairing that one door.
How to Program a Series 900 Dip Switch Remote
Open the back of the new remote and set its 10 dip switch keys exactly like a remote that already works on that door. Every remote on one door carries the identical code.
If the RADIORE 901 or RADIORE 900 has not learned that code yet, hold its LEARN button and press the remote, the same as Series 100.
On a 903 or 932, check each button or dial setting moves only the door it is meant to.
Because the code is fixed, anyone who copies the dip switch pattern has a working remote. When a dip switch remote goes missing, change the pattern on the receiver side and on every remaining remote.
Lost Remote or Staff Change
A rolling code receiver cannot drop just one remote. You erase the receiver with a longer hold on the LEARN button, which wipes every remote it knew, then pair back only the remotes you still trust. The exact hold time is on the Manaras programming sheet for that receiver. Have all the remotes that should keep working in hand before you erase. On a RADIORE 901 that is up to 50 rolling code remotes to re-pair.
When a Manaras Remote Will Not Work
- Weak range or works only up close: change the battery first. Most of the line takes a CR2032, the 144 and 932 take 2 x AA, the 901 takes a 12V A23.
- Remote will not pair to a Manaras operator: check the model. A 901, 903 or 932 is Series 900 and cannot pair to the board receiver. It needs a RADIORE 901 or 900.
- Poor signal in a steel or concrete building: the RADIORE 901 takes a commercial antenna (RADIORE901A) on coax (CABLEKIT001 / 001A), so the antenna can sit where the signal gets through.
- Outdoor or wet location: use the NEMA 4 version, RADIORE901B.
- Wrong door moves on a 144 or 932: the dials were on the wrong number when it was paired. Set the right number and pair that door again.

Call when the receiver is damaged, when you are mixing Series 100 and Series 900 remotes in one building, when you need remotes working on a non-Manaras operator, or when a whole parkade needs re-keying after lost remotes.
